Wild Staffordshire is a purpose-driven not for profit organisation committed to see a greener planet earth where living landscapes are protected, enhanced, and valued by and for everyone.
We wouldn’t be able to work on or even start our great projects with out the support of local communities and an amazing group of volunteers.
With your help, we will be able to make an even greater difference for Staffordshire’s natural habitats and wildlife. There are many ways in which you can get involved, and we’re here to help you along the way. Our work would not be possible without vital funds raised via the enthusiasm of nature lovers in Staffordshire and the dedication of our communities.
We always need support from the local communities and volunteers to help with lots of tasks including community engagement programmes, ecology surveying, caring for wildlife sites, fundraising and working with our education team.
You could join on of our community interest groups or initiatives such as the Pine Marten or Squirrel Projects, which protect our natural world and enable communities to enjoy and explore their local environment.
Our volunteers carry out a huge range of tasks but it doesn’t have to be outdoors! You could find yourself making good use of your event organisation, IT, marketing or finance skills too.
PROMOTE OR FUNDRAISE
Promoting the important role Wild Staffordshire plays in conservation is of upmost importance. Communities, Schools, land owners and the general public all need to get behind our projects and be in support of rewilding and native species returning to Staffordshire.
If you are dedicated to seeing the return of nature and feel you can promote our work, whether between friends and work colleagues, or out on public displays please get in touch.
If you would like to run an event supporting us, however large or small, we’d be delighted to discuss this with you.
